Took a train and a ferry from Bangkok to Ko Tao, the uppermost and smallest of the best-know string of islands in the Gulf of Thailand that also includes Ko Samui and Ko Pha Ngan. Spent three or four days doing the Open Water course, then decided to stay and get certified as an Advanced Adventurer. Hee hee. So now I can dive to 30 meters. I have a lot more to say on the subject. All in due time. It was an amazing experience, and really blew the doors off of some limitations I never even knew I had.
